From Chicago, IL

Why do you make art?

“I make art because it is what I am compelled to do… My entire life is sort of an art project; the things i surround myself with, the food i choose to eat, clothing, movies… it’s all very intentional, but natural. autonomous, really. I make art because i cannot help myself.”
What do you think of your work?

“I have an awful lot of fun making it.”

Who/what are you inspired by?

“Living, loving, obsessing over silly things, weather, feminism, joy, longing, a quest for knowledge, supernatural, and the understanding that everything is equal.”
What (if anything) do you want your art to accomplish?

“I’d really just like to inspire people to go on to create whatever they want without fear of rejection.”

What would you choose for your last meal?

“Hot, creamy coffee, katsu don, and a slice of pumpkin pie.”
Is there anything else you’d like to add?

“I love my cat.”
