I am London-based artist photographer from Poland.

Why do you make art?

MZ

This [art] is another reality.

A

What do you think of your work?

MZ

It is too [often] a dictatorship of my head, the dictatorship of image versus a facial asymmetry, an anatomical defects, the inertia of the body and mortality.

A

What’s your favorite piece or series you’ve ever done (if any)?

MZ

I like the portrait of Blanka.

A

Who/what are you inspired by?

MZ

I am inspired by Bellmer, Ballen, Witkin. I like mathematics and neurobiology.

A

What (if anything) do you want your art to accomplish?

MZ

I would like to make the photograph of [a] dream.
