I’ve never had the pleasure of experiencing Burning Man.
I remember the first time I discovered it, it was 2008 and this incredible recap video had surfaced my side of the internet. My eyes had opened to the intensity of what it really meant to experience the dessert with hundreds of other humans in a temporary creative “city” in which by the end was burnt to the ground where all it’s wonder and mystery would live on solely in the memories of the people touched. What a fucking incredible and moving concept. Well, I’m here to say that I’ve still yet to go – though I am certainly planning on it sooner rather than later. So I’d like to share some truly captivating imagery shot by Andrew Jorgensen for The Confluence that will leave you breathless.
Look in awe at just how incredible we can be when we come together to create something beautiful for a moment in time.
