“I’ve been taking photos since I was 15. I photograph moments, experiences, and feelings. I also photograph people because I want to capture everyone’s uniqueness. I also want to be able to express things I could not put into writing and visual art makes me become bolder. It unites me with people who see the world similarly.”
“This set is part of my girl gaze series. I’ve been wanting to do it since I started taking photos but never quite knew how to portray it properly. I want to capture the very feminine and delicate parts of being a woman without equating it to weakness. I’m so inspired by the female artists and photographers who have been doing the same thing. I believe that there’s no such thing as redundancy when it comes to issues we want to stand up for. Feminism isn’t a trend. The more people who get involved, the better.”
“I hope people will see and realize how women see the world. I hope, in a way, we can empower women to fight for their rights and love every part of themselves. I hope everyone can see how women artists have a voice that’s uniquely theirs. I hope that the world will see how women, especially when united, can be strong and powerful in all aspects.”
